Kay Stanley is Founder and President of Paces. She is a graduate in Psychology from Brunel University. Kay founded Paces in 1973, the first boutique recruiting organization in Atlanta with specialist legal, corporate and medical divisions. She is widely considered one of the best recruiters in Atlanta.
Kay founded the Paces Scholarship in 1994. This is an educational scholarship that is presented annually to a member of the Atlanta Association of Legal Administrators (AALA). She has been the Titanium level Sponsor of the AALA since the sponsorship program was implemented.
Kay is actively involved in supporting and educating families touched by cancer. Her personal experience of a close family member’s diagnosis and subsequent recovery have made her a firm believer in ensuring the very best treatment center is selected. Heather Donnelly is Paces' Director of Administration. She is a graduate of Keene State College (Keene, NH) and has an MBA in Finance from Shorter College (Rome, GA). Heather joined Paces in June 1994, starting as the office coordinator. She took on responsibility at an early stage and quickly moved into a management role. Since then, her responsibilities increased as she took a lead role in the management of the organization. Heather assumed her current role in January 1998, directing daily operations for Paces. Heather has been instrumental in helping guide Paces through years of new growth and development, building new community partnerships and positioning the organization for continued success.
As the Director of Operations, Heather is responsible for the management, growth and strategic coordination of Paces departments to include Administration, HR, Accounting, Systems and Policy/Procedure Development.
Heather brings over 15 years of experience in the staffing industry. Currently she serves as a guest member on The AALA Gene Henson Scholarship Committee. Previously she worked for the RI General Assembly, The Rhode Island Council for Domestic Violence, and Brown and Shape International. Heather is a native of Rhode Island. hdonnelly@pacesstaffing.com
Brooke Bender is a Staffing Supervisor for the Legal/Corporate Temporary Division at Paces. She has her Bachelor of Science in English Education as well as her Masters of English Education from the University of Georgia. Brooke has been with Paces for a little over 2 years and has had great success placing temporary and contract candidates in top law firms and corporations in Atlanta, the Southeast and across the US. In addition to handling contract staffing, Brooke also specializes in resume consultation and revision. Prior to her recruiting career, Brooke worked in the Education field teaching English.

Kelli Rutherford has been a Recruiter since 2006 and has worked in both contract and permanent recruiting. Prior to joining Paces Staffing, Kelli graduated from The University of Georgia where she received a Bachelor’s degree and a Paralegal Certificate. She is also a Certified Personnel Consultant accredited through The National Association of Personnel Services.
Kelli recruits middle, senior, and executive level legal and corporate professionals. She brings to Paces sophistication, passion, and a persistent dedication to achievement. Her experience and success in recruiting, mentoring, and placing Georgia’s most qualified candidates has made her a key contributor to the company. Kelli attributes her success at Paces to paying close attention to the needs of clients and candidates alike, and anticipating market trends.

Melissa Price is a Senior Recruiter with Paces. An Atlanta native, she has over 10 years of experience in Legal and Corporate Recruiting.
Melissa is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a degree in Human & Organizational Development, specializing in Health and Human Services.
After graduation, Melissa joined Paces as a Staffing Coordinator for the Temporary Staffing division. After 2 years, Melissa relocated to New York City and worked with global recruiting firm, ADECCO. Here she specialized in Administrative/Financial recruiting. Upon returning to Atlanta in 2003, Melissa returned to Paces as a Senior Recruiter. She has since specialized in placing all areas of legal support, as well as, attorneys within law firms and corporations across the Atlanta and Southeast area.
Melissa has a very hands-on approach to recruiting, working with many of the leading law firms across the Southeast. She considers client relations/relationships and assisting candidates in their job search as the most rewarding aspect of her job. mprice@pacesstaffing.com
Meredith Davis is a Recruiter in the Legal and Corporate Divisions of Paces. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Meredith has a diverse background in the legal field. She has worked extensively in both legal and professional development departments, most recently, for Troutman Sanders LLP in Atlanta. In addition to her legal experience, she has wide-ranging international business relations and government affairs experience. In particular, Meredith has managed high profile political campaigns and relationships for congress representatives.
Meredith has worked with a wide range of people and organizations. From working with politicians to people in underdeveloped countries, she has a passion to connect with people, and provide solutions and resources.
